About The Choreographer
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Brandon Dumlao began dancing at the late age of 17 under various dance styles, such as, jazz, ballroom, contemporary and hip hop. Soon after, he joined Funkanometry SF as 2007 company member where he quickly excelled in creating his own dance style he’d like to call lyrical hip hop. In 2008, he later called it quits on the team to pursue his craft even further. His work paid off in 2009 as he made Top 20 in the dance show So You Think You Can Dance and has also joined NeverLand, a branch team off The Lost Kids, co-directed by Ellen Kim and Kyle Hanagami. Brandon is very excited to come teach on the East Coast for the first time and would like to thank Fr3sh and Rhythmology for the amazing opportunity. You’ll be sure to see more of him in the future…hopefully on a certain TV show… ahem!
