Dancer
Dana is a 21 year old hip hop and contemporary dancer from
Brooklyn, NY. She began her dance training in Brooklyn with
Jazz, ballet, tap and lyrical and was an assistant teacher
at her studio by the age of 13. Dana continued her dance training
at Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan which gave her the opportunity
to learn from some of the best choreographers in the business
such as Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Cris Judd and Dave Scott.
She graduated from Lehigh University this passed May with
a BA in Behavioral Neuroscience and English and while at Lehigh
was the University Dance Team's captain for 3 years. Last
year she took her team and original choreography to NYCDA
in Philadelphia and won gold as well as best precision and
best hip hop against 77 other acts. She has been teaching
dance since the age of 14 and has taught for dancing schools
throughout NY and PA. She is preparing to leave for Europe
to dance with her old dance troupe in Barcelona, Rome and
Munich this coming September.
