FR3SH Dance Company Dancer
Leon Jesus "JJ" Pilar, began dancing with Fr3sh in summer of 2007, when he auditioned and made it on as company scholarship. Before auditioning for Fr3sh, JJ had very limited dance experience, having only been part of NYU's IFA Dance/Step Team for a couple of years and taken a few Fr3sh classes. Despite this, JJ always had an appreciation for dance and always admired those that shared a passion for it. He would like to give a special thank you to his MADE coach for giving him the confidence to audition (and for teaching him dances and allowing him to embarass himself during house parties/get togethers). He could not have done it without you. JJ is grateful to have been a part of Season 6 during which he felt he has grown significantly as a dancer and for all the wonderful relationships he has built within the team. Now a part of the company and a member of the E-board, JJ looks forward to the next season, and all the opportunities and surprises that may come along.
