| FR3SH Dance Company Dancer
Ray Rollan started his dancing 2 years ago when a friend invited him to take a Funkanometry San Francisco Company Class with Shaun Evaristo. The class inspired him and initiated his love for dance and since then he has been constantly finding new venues to help him explore and grow as a dancer. In
2006 he became a member of Booftroop, a competitive dance team located in San Jose, California. While in Booftroop, he learned how to develop style and groove and also immerse himself in the intricate moves that the team is known for. He then moved to San Diego for school and danced with Team Nacu Rhythmz, where he had an opportunity to diversify his style and refine his dancing with the Socal flavor. He danced with Team Nacu for a year and became one of the core dancers. While in San Diego he has also taken classes with 220 director Bernie Nefalar, Studio FX, Studio 429 and Funkanometry San Diego. He has performed in showcases such as Prelude Socal, Battlefest and others. At the age of 20, he is now a member of Fr3sh Dance Company, and he continues to grow as a dancer and improve his style while blending East Coast Choreography with West Coast love. Ray constantly challenges himself to learn different styles and is thankful for all the people he has met through his dance journey.
